Growing up, I had plenty of opportunities to learn wood working, but never appreciated the art because of my age. My grandfather was a skilled wood worker. Unfortunately for me, he passed away about a year ago. We never had anything in common except for playing poker, and I really would have loved to learn this art from him. As the saying goes, you never appreciate something until its gone.
I started shift work last week, and because of the long hours, I have plenty of days off. So to burn some time I decided to take up the art of wood working. I’ve never noticed the intricate art of wood working and it is an art that is becoming lost more and more.
To start myself off in the right direction, I found a DIY project for a birdhouse.
